I don't know about you, but I live and work for the weekends.  The worst part about those beloved weekends?  The dreaded Sunday Scaries...dun, dun, dun!  EEK!  Well, after working in the adult world for some time now, I've learned to embrace taking a little time out each weekend for some self-care.  Big or small, here are a few things that help me get the next week started on the right foot!

My number one, go-to for self-care is a bath!  There's nothing better than a great book and some bubbles (in a glass or in the bath!)  I've seen a lot of people recently hanging eucalyptus from their showers, but I've also found that you can do the same with a small bundle of lavender.

This past year, I recently discovered two new self-care products that are always in my bathroom.  Although, they look like candy, the Harper + Ari Dream Sugar Cubes cannot be eaten, but are amazing bath products.  Wet these little treats in your hands for a great in-shower or bath exfoliation.  The Dream scent is my favorite!

If you can't tell I LOVE LAVENDER!  A few months ago, I came across a cute gift shop in Dallas called Talulah & Hess.  While there, I found the Goodnight Darling Co. Black Lavender Room Spray.  The scent is not your traditional lavender and it's great to spray in your closet or on your pillow before going to bed.  I've even read somewhere that some celebs using the scent as a perfume!

Speaking of perfume, let me tell you about my longest relationship, other than the one with my husband!  In ten years, I have never found a perfume I love more than Chanel Coco Mademoiselle.  It's the only perfume I've ever owned where I have used multiple bottles to the last drop!  The scent lasts all day and it's a nice little treat to wear for a long workday!

One of my favorite self-care items that I use daily, not to just fight off the Sunday Scaries, is my Vitruvi White Stone Diffuser.  It's one of the best diffusers I've owned and it's a great home decor piece.  I bet you can guess my favorite scent to diffuse?

And the best self-care item of all?  A puppy who will always love you in good times and bad!
